核釋「商品標示法」第9條第1項第4款規定商品於流通進入市場時，生產、製造或進口商應標示國曆或西曆製造日期。但有時效性者，應加註有效日期或有效期間。就「有時效性」之商品而言，本法規定所稱之「製造日期」及「有效日期」自應「年、月、日」三者均標示；就「無時效性」商品之「製造日期」標示部分，如企業經營者僅標示「年、月」者，依本法規範意旨，應推定該年月之第一日為「製造日期」

MINISTRY OF ECONOMIC AFFAIRS Order is hereby given, for the interpretive rule pursuant to Subparagraph 4, Paragraph 1, Article 9 of "Commodity Labeling Act" which stipulates the following rules: if the commodity has a limited duration of storage, the date of manufacture and expiration date shall be labeled "year, month and day"; for the commodity that has no limited duration of storage, if the business operators only label "year and month" on the commodity, the day of manufacture shall be regarded as the first day of the aforesaid year and month
